Reach Your Fat Loss Goals by Detoxing Your Body

When your body burns off fat, any poisons which have been stored in these cells (and fat cells are exceptionally prone to storing toxins) are released as the cells are lysed and metabolized by the liver’s enzymes. Toxins may enter the body in some ways. There are environmental pollutants found in the air and water, pesticides, chemicals and hormones in foods and the list keeps going and on.

These poisons have many various negative effects on your body.

1. Poisons could cause damage on the cellular level by harming the mitochondria; these are the intracellular bodies that produce energy. The mitochondria in your liver and muscles are in charge of metabolizing fat into energy.

2. Toxins can cause an imbalance in the hormones released by the thyroid gland, the part of the endocrine system which is in charge of metabolic regulation. The thyroid is especially vital for metabolizing fats and carbohydrates.

3. Some of these poisons can forestall the proper function of the hormone leptin, which is produced by fat cells and is in charge of the storage and use of energy ; it also performs a role in telling the brain that you are full. When this hormone is prevented from working correctly, it can lead to overeating and therefore weight gain.

Paradoxically, burning off excess weight in the form of fat can make the difficulty worse. As fat cells are metabolized and converted into energy, poisons stored in these cells are released and can overload the liver, causing your metabolism to decelerate. Naturally, a slower metabolism makes you more disposed to gaining weight and makes shedding pounds harder. You can try to adapt by limiting your caloric intake, but this could only cause your metabolic rate to decrease further! This may set off an un-winnable contest between you and your own metabolism.
